The Jubbaland Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed has received a delegation from Save the Children led by the Special Representative for Somalia.
The Humanitarian Affairs minister briefed the officials on the current drought situation in the Jubbaland state and the need for immediate aid assistance.
The minister also thanked international aid agencies for their good efforts in assisting the Jubbaland humanitarian and disaster management ministry and for supporting the Ministry in implementing the 2022-2026 Disaster Management Plan.
