The President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has today morning received the UK Ambassador to Somalia, Kate Foster, and a delegation led by her in Kismayo, Jubbaland state.
The meeting discussed the drought situation and its impact on the people in some areas in Jubbaland state.
In recent months the Jubbaland government has provided significant relief to the drought affected people by providing various aid assistance.
The meeting also discussed parliamentary elections in many parts of the country.
