The military court of the semi-autonomous state of Puntland has sentenced a group accused of being members of Al-Shabaab terror militants.
Of the six-member network, four were sentenced to death by firing squad, while the other two were sentenced to various prison terms.
Farhan Faisal Salad, Abdullahi Faisal Hussein, Barkhad Awil Hirsi and Liban Aden Muse were sentenced to death.
Abdiqani Farhan Abdullahi was sentenced by the court to 30 years in prison, while Abdirahman Awil Mohamed was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The court said the network carried out bombings and assassinations in Galkayo, the capital of Mudug region
