Jubbaland Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed has today held a briefing with the Jubbaland Drought Committee appointed by the Jubbaland Humanitarian Affairs Ministry last year.
The drought committee briefed the Jubbaland Humanitarian and Disaster management minister on the current drought situation and the various activities the drought committee has undertaken recently.
The minister who was on a working visit to Kenya has outlined Ministry plans to mitigate the adverse effects of the drought in Jubbaland state.
The Minister has thanked the drought committee for its committed work during his absence.
