The President of the Jubaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has today met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Somalia, Mohamed Ahmed Othman at his residence in Mogadishu.
The Jubbaland state President thanked the Government of the United Arab Emirates for its aid assistance to help in the ongoing drought situation in the Jubaland regional state and throughout Somalia.
The Jubbaland state President also welcomed the move by Federal Government of Somalia Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble to restore the traditional ties between the two countries which will be mutually beneficial.
