The President of the Jubaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, has today attended a meeting of the National Consultative Council with civil society organizations to discuss the role of civil society in the elections and how they can play their role in the country’s long-delayed polls.
Leaders are still holding various meetings with all parties involved in the elections and listening to their suggestions and views on how to result in a speedy and credible poll.
