The Jubbaland Deputy Minister for Education, Culture and Higher Education, Mukhtar Kamil Kuuleey has yesterday inspected some of the schools in Kismayo district.
The schools included Ganaane, Midnimo, Khalid bin Walid, Horyaal and Badar school.
The Jubbaland Deputy Minister for Education was accompanied by the Speaker of the Jubbaland Parliament Shire Abdi Mohamed and officials from the Jubbaland Ministry of Education.
Students in Kismayo district schools thanked the education minister for the visit to schools.
Midnimo School Principal, Mohamed Abdikarin Nur welcomed the officials led by the Jubbaland Deputy Minister of Education.
Jubbaland Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education Muqtar Kamil said the purpose of the visit to some of the schools in Kismayo today was to inspect learning institutions and the standards and environment in which they operate.
