The Somali government has announced the indefinite closure of Movcom terminal at the Aden Adde International Airport used by the United Nations and the AMISOM.

The deputy director of Aden Adde International Airport said the Movcon Terminal used by the United Nations, AMISOM and Western embassies was closed until further notice, following a letter from the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Airport authorities said they have also been instructed that from now on, all incoming and outgoing flights will be directed to use domestic, international and VIP terminals.

The move comes after it was alleged that the AMISOM refused to deploy a police force that will be part of the investigation and unit in charge of the Movcon terminal.
