Somalia international partners welcomes the Scheduled National Consultative Council convention

Somalia’s international partners have welcome the plan to convene a face-to-face meeting of the National Consultative Assembly focusing on improving and accelerating the electoral process.
” We continue to fully support any process based on and respecting the agreements of 17 September 2020 and 27 May 2021. We reiterate our calls for full transparency in all relevant procedures,” Reads the statement from international partners.
They called on the Somali authorities to complete the electoral process as soon as possible, and call for the implementation of the necessary steps to achieve correct the gaps seen to ensure that the result is the support and trust of the Somali people.

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has yesterday sent out invitations to the leaders of the National Consultative Council to convene on Dec 27, 2021 in Mogadishu, Somalia to focus on improving and accelerating the Somali poll.
