The Minister for Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdullahi Abukar Haji met with his Turkish counterpart Hon. Muhmut Ozer, in Turkey to discuss bilateral education relations, enhancing educational cooperation and research.
The Somali Minister for Education, who is attending the Africa-Turkey Cooperation Conference, briefed his Turkish counterpart on the overall state of education in Somalia, the education needs, Turkey’s relationship with the Ministry of Education and the Federal Government’s overall efforts to improve education in Somalia.
The meeting between the two ministers ended in full agreement in the presence of the Director General of the Turkish Ministry of Education and the Education Officials of the Somali Embassy in Istanbul.
