The Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, Abdisaid Muse Ali has today received the Ambassador of the European Union to Somalia, Ms. Tiina Intelmann, in Mogadishu, on an honorary visit to discuss mutually beneficial interests.
The discussion between the Somali Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of the European Union focused on strengthening cooperation and collaboration between Somalia and the EU in the areas of security, development and the economy.
The European Union (EU) is providing financial support to Somalia through military training.
