President Farmajo jets back to the country after two-day visit to Ethiopia

Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has yesterday returned back to the country after a two-day visit to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to attend the inauguration of the new Ethiopian government.

During his stay in Addis Ababa, the Somali President met with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed and congratulated him on his re-election.

President Farmajo also held talks with the leaders who attended the inauguration ceremony of Abiy Ahmed, including Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.

It is reported that the two leaders discussed strengthening of bilateral relations in the areas of security, economic and regional cooperation.
