A critical security meeting is expected to be held today in the Somali capital, Mogadishu concerning NISA agent Ikran Tahlil’s disappearance case.
The meeting was called by Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo to give information on the NISA agent case.
Although the National Security Council is fragmented, at least some of the information promised by former NISA commander Fahad Yassin Haji Dahir is due to be made public today.
The former NISA commander is arriving in Mogadishu today. He was denied entry into Djibouti airspace and was forced to fly from Istanbul last night, according to reliable sources.
NISA has previously said that Ikraan Tahlil Farah was killed by Al-Shabaab after her abduction, a claim strongly opposed by Ikraan’s relatives and Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
