The security of Jowhar town has been tightened where the election of the members of the upper house of the federal parliament from Hirshabelle is expected to take place in the coming days.
According to the Upper House Election Schedule, the date was set on 12 September 2021 for the candidates to address the Hirshabelle MPs after which the election of the members of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia will take place.
