Somali government denies reports of flights suspension to Hargeisa

The Somali government’s Ministry of Civil Aviation has denied reports that some international flights to Hargeisa have been suspended.

A statement from the ministry said no order had been issued by the ministry.

“The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Federal Government of Somalia is making it clear to the Somali people that there is no order from the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, which has suspended Fly Dubai and Air Arabia,” The Ministry statement said.

The ministry has issued a warning to people it says are spreading false information.

“The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Federal Government of Somalia, warns the public and the media to stop spreading such false information and misleading the Somali community.”
