The chairman of the Federal Electoral Commission, Mohamed Hassan Cinro, said the electoral commissions were not afraid of failing to carry out their mandate and had a lot of confidence and any interference will not be accepted.

The chairman, who was participating in a debate on electoral issues, said that each of the electoral commissions is committed to holding clean and timely elections.

He added that they are committed to working with the administration to make the election process more independent, and that they can talk about it if they feel interfered with.

The Chairman of the Federal Electoral Implementation Committee said that any political disputes would be referred to the National Electoral Consultative Forum.
