The Jubbaland justice and religious affairs has today held a special meeting aimed at streamlining religious education institutions in abid to curb dubious registration and curbing back door operations of mushrooming religious institutions in Kismayo, Jubbaland state.
The meeting, which took place at the Jubbaland Ministry of Justice and Religious Affairs, was attended by the minister and his deputy, ministry staff and administrators of religious institutions in Kismayo.
The meeting focused on how to register religious institutions operating in Kismayo and their teachers and how to improve the quality of religious education.
Some of the teachers of religious institutions in Kismayo who spoke at the event welcomed the ministry’s plan to register and improve religious education in Kismayo.
The Jubbaland Ministry of Justice, Endowments and Religious Affairs is working to strengthen the quality of religious education in Kismayo schools.
