The Jubbaland ministry of education and higher learning has today opened a consultation workshop on education quality Assurance and standards geared towards uplifting the education standards in the Jubbaland state of Somalia.
The consultation workshop focused on how the Jubbaland education community can contribute to the process of improving the quality of education across the country, led by the federal government’s Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education.
The two-day consultation workshop which was opened by the new Jubbaland education minister will focus on how to contribute constructive ideas in the boosting of the education standards.
The Director General of the Jubbaland Ministry of Education Ahmed Osman Siyah said the consultation workshop is aimed at uplifting the quality of education and putting a new perspective on the education standard being rolled out in the Jubbaland state.
The Jubbaland Minister of Education Abdinasir Serar Maax who also addressed the workshop, noted that the importance of strengthening the quality of education and bring a paradigm shift in its roll out.
The consultation workshop on education was attended by education experts as well as officials from the federal Ministry of Education.
