The Speaker of the Upper House of the Somali Parliament Abdi Hashi had a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Sadiq Sanjrani and discussed a number of issues including cooperation between the two countries.

Pakistan’s Speaker of the House of Representatives Sadiq Sanjrani has extended an official invitation to his Somali counterpart Abdi Hashi to visit Pakistan to strengthen ties between the two parliaments, saying it is important to exchange delegations from both houses of parliament to strengthen ties between the two parliaments.

Meanwhile, Abdi Hashi, the speaker of Somalia’s upper house of parliament, accepted the invitation from his Pakistani counterpart Sadiq Sanjrani, saying it was important to strengthen ties between the two parliaments, given the long-standing ties between the two countries.

The telephone conversation between the two officials followed a multi-faceted meeting on Friday in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan by the Ambassador of Somalia to Pakistan, Mrs. Khadija Mohamed Al-Maqzumi, and the Speaker of the Upper House of Pakistan, Mr. Sadiq Sanjrani.
