Two Somali nationals killed in Missouri, US as police launch investigation

Two Somali nationals has been shot dead in Kansas City, Missouri, police say.

The slain Somali nationals were shot dead in front of their home by their brother shortly after they returned from the mosque for the Tarawih prayers. The assailant was later shot dead by Kansas City police.

Police say they shot the boy after he fought back and refused to surrender to the police.

Their neighbor, who was a Somali woman said the family has been facing the tragedy of having their mother strangled to death while she was inside her home. Kansas City Police are investigating the motive behind the killing of the teenagers by their own brother shortly after returning from the mosque.

Many Somalis have been killed in the United States in the past, mostly by black gangs, who have not yet been arrested for trial.
