Somali Premier calls on Muslims to extend a helping hand to the orphans and the needy as the Holy month of Ramadhan sets in


Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has wished all Muslims around the globe a Ramadhan Kareem during as the Holy month of Ramadhan sets in.

The Somali Prime Minister appealed to all Somali Muslims to come to the aid of their Somali brothers and sisters, especially the orphans and the needy.

“I wish all the Somali people and the Islamic Ummah on the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan. May God bless us all. Please help each other and especially the poor and orphans and pray for our country, Ramadan Kareem,” said Mohamed Hussein Roble.

The Somali premier called on the security agencies to strengthen security and make it easier for the public to worship and urged the public to work with security agencies especially this holy month of Ramadhan where incidents of terror and insecurity are rife.

Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and observed by all Muslims around the globe as a month of fasting (SAWM), prayer, supplication and reflection.
