The President of Jubbaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam has sent his condolences to the victims of last night’s terror attack in Shangaani district, Mogadishu.
Ahmed Mohamed Islam said the Somali nation has suffered an immense loss since the youth are the future and the hope of the nation.
“I send my deepest condolences to the family, relatives and the Somali people in general for the loss of the youth who were massacred by terrorists in Mogadishu tonight”, Reads the Jubbaland president’s statement.
He said the Al-Shabaab’s had made a vicious commitment to targeting the public and the youth who are positively contributing to nation building and youths who are making a difference for the future of their country.
The Jubbaland state president said unlawful actions of the Al-Shabaab terrorists is meant to scare the peace loving Somali people and will never deter the nation from moving forward and making progress despite their ill-motives.
