The outgoing members of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament will hold an emergency meeting in Villa Hargeisa on Saturday, where many people are skeptical about the outcome and the agenda.
MPs were informed of the special meeting last night and are said to discuss the ravaging effects of the Coronavirus pandemic which has resurged in Somalia in a second wave.
Many political analysts believe that lawmakers whose term expired have not been called in to discuss the Coronavirus situation, but the real agenda is being kept under wraps, and that it is possible to change its agenda at the last minute.
The main fear is that they will approve an extension of the term of the federal government, which has already expired on 8th of Feb this 2021.
