The First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Aden, has today arrived in Kismayo, the Jubbaland regional state of Somalia.
The delegation, led by the First Vice President of Jubbaland, Mohamud Sayid Aden, who was on a month-long visit to the Kenyan capital Nairobi.
The Jubbaland state first Vice president and his entourage arrived at the Sayid Mohamed Abdulle Hassan International Airport in Kismayo shortly after 8am.
The Jubbaland first Vice- President’s reception was attended by officials from Jubbaland state government and various sections of the community in Kismayo, the capital of Jubbaland.
Speaking to the media at the airport lounge, the vice president thanked all the officials who welcomed him at the airport in Kismayo and stressed the need to provide immediate assistance to those affected by the raging drought.
