Officials from the South West regional State of Somalia and local security officials met in Jigjiga at the Somali state of Ethiopia headquarters.
The two sides discussed regional cooperation and subsequently strengthen ties and relations on security, the movement of society and working together for the interests of the region, especially the border shared by the two communities.
The meeting was also attended by the administration of Afder region in the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia and the districts bordering the southwest.
The delegation from the State of South West is headed by the Minister of Public Works & Housing and reconstruction Ahmed Sheikh who said they agreed to work together closely to boost security and integration between the two communities.
Officials from the South West State of Somalia who are in the Somali region for 4 days are still holding various meetings in Jigjiga town of the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia.
