US President Donald Trump last night threatened not to sign a bill passed by the US Congress that would include $ 1.4 trillion in government budget and $ 900 billion in coronavirus assistance.

In a video posted on his Twitter account, Trump said Tuesday that the money approved by Congress is not enough for the American people.

The law allows most Americans to pay up to $ 600 per person. President Trump has asked Congress to increase the amount to $ 2,000 per person or $ 4,000 per married couple.

He also called on Congress to remove unnecessary items from the bill for it to be signed.

President-elect Joe Biden has promised to provide financial assistance to Americans affected by Covid-19 when he assumes office on January next year.
