SECONDARY SCHOOLS EXAMS RESULTS SET TO BE RELEASED EARLY NEXT WEEK

Acting Minister for Education of the Federal Government of Somalia Abdullahi Godah Bare said that they will announce the official results of the national secondary school examinations next week.

Speaking at the annual meeting of the Ministry of education and Somali students, Godax said that this year’s exams was be different from the previous ones as the country was under the influence of Covid-19 disease.

He said that the process of evaluation of the students who took part in this year’s exams is underway to facilitate qualified students to join the country’s universities.

The Acting Minister for Education Abdullahi Godah Bare also spoke about the curriculum that the government has invested saying that the students from poor background will be provided with textbooks to give them a chance to study better.

More than 34,000 students have sat for the government’s matriculation exam which was conducted by the Ministry of Education on July 18 this year and held at 112 examination centers in Mogadishu and other major cities in the country.
