The Jubbaland Ministry of Education and Higher learning has castigated the recent visit of the Acting Somali federal Minister for Education Abdullahi Godah Barre to Gedo region.
Jubbaland Deputy Minister for Education Abdirizak Ahmed Handal said the Jubbaland Ministry of Education and Higher learning was not notified of the departure of the delegation led by the Somali Minister for Education and that it was done in a manner that goes against the country’s provisional constitution and federal system.
The Jubbaland’s Deputy Education minister said the Jubbaland Education ministry was in charge of projects in Beledhawo and Garbaharey districts and the Acting Education minister for the Somali federal government is out to politicize the matter.
