The President of Galmudug State Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qor Qor said that Al-Shabaab is still in control of four of the Galmudug districts and are causing security problems to the people.
The Galmudug President who officated the closing ceremony of the Dhusamareeb district council said that the people of Galmudug with the help of the federal government and other regional governments are required to participate in the liberation of the areas under the control of Al-Shabaab.
He said that the people of Galmudug areas have already fought hard battles with Al-Shabaab, and there is a need to unite again in order to free themselves from the shackles of the terror group so that the people of Galmudug can get freedom.
