Heads of Civil Aviation Authority of Somalia and Ethiopia hold critical civil aviation cooperation talks

The Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Duran Ahmed Farah has today chaired a meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with the Directors of the Ethiopian and Somali Civil Aviation Authority.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority Ahmed Moalim Hassan, Director General of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority Getachow Mengiste and other officials from both governments.

During the meeting, they also discussed the cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two agencies, and promised to hold further meetings to strengthen critical issues between the two countries.

Director General of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority, Ahmed Moalim, said they were pleased with the Civil Aviation Authority’s relationship with countries in the region.

On his part, Getachow, Director General of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, said he was pleased with the meeting, adding that the partnership between the two agencies would significantly change their work experience and services to both countries.

The Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Duran Ahmed Farah, welcomed the Cooperation of Civil Aviation Authority and said that agreements were being reached to pave the way further cooperations.
