Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has said his government was aware of the lack of transparency in the election and would soon hold a conference on electoral fraud.

Roble said his government had planned a conference in the coming days to discuss the election dispute and that it would have a national consultative council convention.
He said he is under a lot of pressure from the regional administrations, Farmajo’s office and the Union of Candidates.

The Somali Premier pointed out that his government was committed to resolving the grievances over the looting of several parliamentary seats.

“People might be wondering why the prime minister has been silent lately, everyone will have a fair poll including the regional administrations, the candidates and the president,” Roble said.
