The Office of the Auditor General of the Jubbaland State Government today officially launched its annual audit report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
The report was presented in collaboration with the Finance Committee of the Jubbaland Parliament and the Social Affairs Committee.
Speaking to Jubbaland State media, Adan Ali Mohamed, Director of the Auditor General’s Office, emphasized that the annual report plays a critical role in promoting financial transparency within the government and safeguarding public assets.
Meanwhile, MP Adan Mohamed Hire, Acting Chairperson of the Finance Committee of the Jubbaland Parliament, expressed his satisfaction in attending the event and reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to working closely with the Auditor General’s Office to support its vital mandate for the public.
The Auditor General’s Office serves as a key institution in ensuring good governance, upholding the rule of law, and monitoring government offices to guarantee transparency and accountability in financial operations.
