The Jubbaland Police force have last night conducted a large-scale security operation to ensure security in Kismayo town, Jubbaland state of Somalia.
The operation which was led by senior police officers was carried out in the different neighborhoods of the town.
The officials said that the operations are part of a continuous plan of the Jubbaland Police Force to ensure the security of Kismayo and its surroundings.
The people in the different neighborhoods in Kismayo have lauded the police and appealed to them to redouble their efforts in maintaining peace and security.
The Jubbaland police confirmed that they will continue with the security crackdown to prevent acts of insecurity in the town.
