The First Vice President of the Government of Jubbaland State, Mohamud Sayid Adan has appointed a new committee that will work on the organization, registration, and coordination of the Jubbaland Government forces in Gedo Region.
These are part of the government’s efforts to strengthen the defense of the region and the war against the Al-shabaab militants with the intention of continuously supporting the army to ensure the security of the region and Jubbaland as a whole.
The committee will work to register the Jubbaland forces in Gedo region and help support in their training and equipment to strengthen their combat capabilities in readiness for fight against the terrorist groups in the areas of Gedo region.
The appointment of the committee serves as a critical step in building the strength of the Jubbaland army and ways of strengthening the cooperation and coordination of the Jubbaland army, especially in Gedo Region.
