The Jubaland Independent Boundaties and Electoral Commission has today received officers from the ATMIS police force led by the Coordinating Commander of the ATMIS Police Force in Lower Juba, SSP Elepot Eriya.
The meeting largely focused on the security of the poll venue for the Presidential and Jubaland Members of parliament and cooperation between the Jubbaland police force and ATMIS to ensure the security of the election is beefed up.
The ATMIS officers who participated in the meeting were accompanied by the Police Commander of the Lower Juba Regional Division, Lieutenant Colonel Sadiq Mohamud Dhogor.
