The First Vice President of the Jubbaland government, Mohamud Sayid Aden has today announced the launch of the drought preparedness plan which will be worked on together by 8 Jubbaland government ministries and will be implemented in some parts of Jubbaland regional state.
The drought preparedness program was organized by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of the Jubbaland state and was attended by the Ministries of Agriculture, Interior, Livestock, Fisheries.
Also present at the meeting was the chairman of the Lower Juba Region, Chairman of Badhadhe District, members of the JUNSA Association and a host of humanitarian organizations in Jubbaland state.
