Director General of the Jubbaland Youth and Sports Ministry, Ahmed Farah Ali Aweys has spoke to Radio Kismayo on the recently concluded National Youth Conference which was held in the Somali Capital, Mogadishu which discussed several wide-ranging agendas related to Somali youth.
Some of the key agendas discussed included youth development, security and peace-building.
The Jubbaland Youth and Sports Ministry Director General said that they have highlighted the general challenges facing the youth of Jubbaland regional state adding that the youth support organizations and the government have made a commitment to support the youth and their development.
On the other hand, he underscored the importance of the youth in general and to the community during the three-day youth conference which came to a close on Monday.
He also noted that they are carrying out several plans that reflect the vision of the conference and devolved it to the region.
