The deputy chairman of Afmadow District Council, Salah Omar Abdi together with Afmadow District Security Commander Col. Siyad Macalim Bashir have today officiated a hand-over ceremony of a new police station building that was recently implemented in the district of Afmadow, LowerJubba region.
The hand-over ceremony was also attended by the Commander of the Jubbaland Intelligence and Security Agency in Afmadow District, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Afmadow District, community leaders among other officials.
The Police Station which has been built to a high standard, is one of the projects of the decentralization system of the local government which has greatly benefited the locals.
The Jubbaland Ministry of Security and the local government of Afmadow district cooperated in the implementation of the building project.
