The President of Galmudug regional State of Somalia, Ahmed Abdi Kariye (Qor Qor), who is in Cadakibir area of Galgaduud Region, has lauded efforts by area locals who tirelessly fought off and defended themselves from an attack by Al-Shabaab terror militants.
The Galmudug state President said that Al-Shabaab is causing serious problems to the people in Galmudug and killing civilians, burying water wells and cutting off communications as an act of sabotage.
The President of Galmudug regional state also said that concerted efforts by the Somali people, the Federal Government of Somalia and the Galmudug Regional Government will wage a massive terror onslaught on the terror network and drive them out of country.
He called on other authorities in the country to take part in a similar fight against the Al-Shabaab terror group and rid the country of the terror militants causing widespread havoc and suffering of the Somali people.
