Somali Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Mukhtar Robow condemns Al-Shabaab terror network activities in Somalia

The Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of the Somali federal government, Sheikh Muqtar Robow Ali (Abu Mansoor) has spoke strongly about the Al-Shabaab attack on the Hayat Hotel in Mogadishu and other attacks in Somalia.

Minister Muqtar Robow, who was sitting next to some of the scholars of Mogadishu, said that it is very sad that Al-Shabaab terror group is causing problems in the whole country, saying that it is not a religion outfit as they claim.

He added that the Somali people with the help of their government and clerics will face Al-Shabaab and this will cause Al-Shabaab to lose the upperhand and opportunity to carry out their attacks.

The Somali federal Minister for Endowment & Religious Affairs further said that everyone should defend themselves and their property, and also unite to fight against the Al-Shabaab as the people of Hiran and Galmudug fought against the terror network.

The statement of the Minister for Religious Affairs of the Government of Somalia comes against a backdrop of an attack by Al-Shabaab in Mogadishu few days ago at Al Hayat Hotel which took the government more than 30 hours to end the hotel siege.
