A delegation led by the Special envoy on drought affairs for Somalia, Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame, have today arrived in Bardhere, Gedo region.
The delegation, which included Qatari officials visited Bardhere district to assess the situation and the impact of the drought that has affected the people.
The members of the delegation inspected the various camps housing the people displaced by the drought in Bardhere district as well as listening to reports from the camp leaders.
The members of the delegation also delivered aid to the displaced people who have been severely affected by the ravages of drought.
