Kismayo Airport Manager Abdullahi Adan Mohamud (Jagadoon) said has refuted claims of Jubbaland flights cancellation following a letter on social media, which stated that airlines will stop
domestic flights due to Insecurity in the country’s airports.
The manager said that he does not know anything about such letter posted on social media and that the Jubbaland Airports Authority, in particular Sayid Mohamed Abdule Airport and Dobley Airstrip are ready to provide public transport services and their security is very high.
He added that there are no fears or obstacles to aircraft crashes or passenger restrictions.
He further said that the security of the airports is the responsibility of the government and promised the public that the social services at the airports will not be slowed down.
The Kismayo airport manager noted that their commitment is progressive work and quality community service.
