Somalia’s new Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre has announced key commitments to address the situation in the country and fulfill one of the biggest hopes of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre first promised to form a high-quality government that could make a real difference and said he would stand day and night to fulfill his national responsibilities.
“One of the major issues facing the country and its people is political instability and insecurity, the protracted drought and how to find a lasting solution and how the long-delayed constitution itself can be reviewed and finalized, Said Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
He added that he will focus on the major issues facing the government he will form, including the dialogue with Somaliland on how to achieve it and how to develop the economy so as to create good jobs for the youth.
“I am committed to implementing the great motto of all Somalis, “Agree Somalia and Agree with the World” All of which requires more effort,” Said the new Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre, a long time ally of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is expected to form a new government and take action.
