The Jubbaland Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Abdirahman Abdi Ahmed has today met with the Head of Technical Affairs and the Deputy Chief of Mission for Somalia at the European Union headquarters in Nairobi.
The Jubbaland Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has discussed the following with the European Union officials.
1. Accelerate drought response in Jubbaland state.
2. Implementation of the Strategic Food Reserve by the Government of Jubaland.
3. Support the 5 year plan of the Jubaland Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.
4. Finding lasting solutions to recurring disasters.
Lastly, the Jubbaland Humanitarian Affairs Minister thanked the European Union for their support to Somalia in general and Jubbaland regional state in particular.
