The First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Aden has today chaired a meeting of the Jubbaland Council of Ministers.
During the council of ministers meeting, The Jubbaland Ministry of Internal Security has presented a report on Jubbaland security matters and the ongoing security operations in Kismayo.
The Jubbaland Ministry of Planning and International Co-operation also presented a report on the Sustainable Solution Plan. The ministry has also submitted a report on the provision of training to 20 Jubbaland Ministries.
During the meeting, the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Jubbaland state has presented a report on the implementation of the ministry’s recent ban on plastic bags and stressed the need to enforce that order.
The Jubbaland Ministry of Environment and Tourism has also released a report on the adverse impact of the banned plastic bags on the environment.
