Somalia takes part in the Arab Sustainable Development Goals Summit in Beirut, Lebanon

The Director of the Planning Department of the FGS Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, Mr. Muse Mohamed Osman, is attending the Arab Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit in Beirut, Lebanon.

The summit will discuss perspectives on progress and achievements in implementing the 2030 agenda.

The Somali government will present at the forum the benefits of the long-term peace, humanitarian and social development program.

In addition, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the country is set to be presented by Somalia at the summit.

The conference will also discuss the impact of Coronavirus infection on Arab economies. The summit is expected to last for 3 days.
