Somali Ambassador to Ethiopia, Abdullahi Ahmed Jama (Ilkajir) has yesterday received a high-level delegation led by the United Nations Special Representative to Somalia, James Swan at the embassy.
The top level meeting focused on the ongoing elections in Somalia, the new peacekeeping mission in the horn of Africa nation and the country’s overall security.
The Ambassador shared with the United Nations Special Representative to Somalia, James Swan the commitment of the Somali Government to the completion of the elections and the readiness of the Somali National Army to take over the security of the country from the peacekeepers in Somalia.
On his part, The United Nations Special Representative for Somalia, James Swan has commended the efforts made on all the issues raised.
