The Somali Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdisaid Muse Ali, has today received a copy of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Somalia, Ahmed Bin Mohamed Almowallad.
The new Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed Bin Mohammed, shared with the Foreign Minister his efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties and cooperation between the two Governments and the two friendly peoples, thanking them for their warm welcome.
The Minister and the Ambassador discussed ways in which Somalia and Saudi Arabia could strengthen their traditional ties and co-operation between the two Governments in the areas of security, economy, trade, social affairs and politics.
The Somali Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation congratulated the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on his appointment adding that the Federal Government of Somalia will support him in fulfilling his diplomatic mission.
