Dhobley Hospital in the Lower Juba region has admitted more than 100 people on Acute Watery Diarrhea (AWD), according to Dhobley Hospital Officials.
The ailment is said to have affected both children and adults.
The disease is the result of what the health authorities said was stagnant water on the town’s streets coupled with poor sanitation conditions.
The Director of Dhobley Hospital, Ali Hassan said that the patients are coming from the four neighborhoods of Dhobley and the rural areas of Dhobley district.
