The President of the South West State of Somalia Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta-Gareen has today met with the British Ambassador to Somalia Kate Foste and the Charge d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Somalia in Mogadishu .
The meeting between President Abdiaziz Laftagareen and the embassy officials discussed a host of issues including the political situation in the country and the upcoming elections.
The South West President also discussed with the British Ambassador Kate Foste and the Charge d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in the region the security situation in the country and how to address the widespread drought situation.
President Abdiaziz Lafta-Gareen called on the United Kingdom and the United States to step up their support for his administration and thanked the international community for its efforts in the run-up to the elections.
